Our Kids are still our number one priority..
A Prototype Information Retrieval System has been developed.

Our goal initially was two fold: to make sure the ban against the use of SNUS (except in Sweden) in the EU is not overturned and that the test marketing of various SNUS products in the U.S. fails. With SNUS in order to be considered spitless the user has to keep the pouch stationary in their for 20-30 minutes any movement will result in more saliva being released and the urge to spit will increases.

Inveterate (hard-nosed, long established, deep-rooted) smokers will not take the time to master the technique of snusing but young adults and kids that want to be young adults will..

At the National Conference on Tobacco or Health (October 24-26, 2007) one major problem identified was the difficulty that public health experts and anti-tobacco experts are perplexed about all those new products. So we decided to add timely, complete information, easily assessable on other tobacco product beside SNUS.

Next when looking at the tobacco control literature we realized there are areas we can make a difference (influence decision making) by providing up-to-date news on what is being accomplished so others can carry out similar measures. Some examples include: expansion of bans on tobacco smoking, bans on smoking in cars when kids are present, the use of fire-safe cigarettes throughout the U.S.A. (all of Canada has such a program, possibly Australia by January 2009), encourage the passing of the “Do Not Mail Tobacco Bill" (H.R. 2932), restricting the USPS from delivering certain tobacco products and encourage the removal of all tobacco displays and placement of tobacco products under the counter – in store selling tobacco. Make sure when the tax is increased it applies to all tobacco products.
